Sea-Fire AT-series systems feature a patented detection mechanism that automatically discharges the highly effective aerosol agent when ambient temperatures reach fire conditions. The container includes a double-walled stainless steel construction rugged enough for varied applications. The housing is non-pressurised and sealed with a non-permeable membrane that ruptures upon activation.
The heat responsive element installed on the
unit is preset to activate the unit when the
ambient temperature reaches a fixed activation
temperature. When this occurs, the affected
unit discharges, filling the space with
condensed aerosol, quickly suppressing the fire.
The system can also be activated manually by a
cable pull that is installed outside of the space.
Systems are available to protect volumes from
(0.55 m³) 19.3 ft³ up to (18.18 m³) 642 ft³. See
the table below.
Multiple units can be linked together to protect
larger spaces. This is only permitted for manual
only systems. Please contact Sea-Fire for
guidance if intending to link multiple units.
Upon activation, the unit produces an effective,
ultra-fine, potassium based aerosol. The total
flooding quickly suppresses and extinguishes
the fire. The suppressant agent remains
suspended for several minutes providing reflash
protection.
AT units are suitable for a broad range of
special hazard applications for use in smaller
enclosures, including battery fire protection.
Sales Brochure
Sea-Fire aerosol units are cost effective to install and maintain and have a shelf life of fifteen (15) years – as they do not require pressure vessels, piping or extensive installation associated with alternative extinguishing systems.
Space and weight requirements are minimal and in many applications, the compact size of the AT aerosol unit provides an effective system solution.
